Hi, I’m Antou Kone, the founder and maker behind Fabila.
My sewing journey began in 2019 when I bought my very first sewing machine. At the time, I didn’t know how to sew—I simply loved crafts and wanted to learn something new.
Instead of attending sewing school, I taught myself by watching YouTube videos and practicing regularly. I began by making satin sleep caps for about a year. When I became a mother, I took a break from sewing to focus on my family.
In 2024, I returned to my passion with a renewed sense of purpose. I began creating handmade tote bags and pouches, and I knew I had found what I truly loved. Today, every Fabila piece is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail, quality, and love.
Fabila is a small home-based business. I create every piece from a little sewing corner in my home, where my machine, fabrics, and ideas come together. My workspace may be small, but it is filled with creativity, purpose, and big dreams.
The name Fabila holds a very special place in my heart. It was created using the first letters of my two children’s names. Every bag I make carries a piece of that love, making Fabila more than just a brand—it is a reflection of my family, my creativity, and my dream.
